  • You can build a website using WordPress and similar tools like Webflow, where for the most part you don't need to know how to code (unless you use WordPress with PHP).
  • You can build a website using Shopify and similar tools like Big Commerce.
  • You can build a website using Wix and similar tools like Squarespace.

For the above options, you can hire a web developer to do everything for you.

Generally, the less upfront cost you have to pay and the less programming expertise you need to get a website going, the less customizable your website is going to be going forward.

If you are making a eCommerce website, the optimal approach seems to be to use WordPress with WooCommerce or Shopify approach, as programming a custom site can be very costly.
